Daddy Freeze writes —I’m not angry that pastors are wealthy, only angry at poor Christians

Popular media personality, Daddy Freeze, has revealed that he's not angry that pastors are wealthy or prosperous.

He added that his anger is directed to the members of some of these mega churches who are poor, and belong to the percentage of Christians with less than 500,000 naira, in their bank accounts.

While taking to his official Instagram page, Daddy Freeze wrote;

"I'm not angry that pastors are wealthy; I'm just angry that you are poor.

It defies logic and reason that only 2% of Nigeria's population has =N=500k and above, despite 50% of Nigeria's population being Christian.
–
This same Nigeria has the worlds largest church auditoriums and some of the worlds wealthiest pastors!"

Olamide reacts after being bribed leak five of Wizkid’s unreleased songs

Rapper, Olamide has reacted after he was offered some money by a fan, to leak songs yet to be released by his colleague, Wizkid.

A social media user had asked Olamide to state the amount he would accept, so that he can release five of Wizkid's songs.

The tweet which was an obvious joke, got the attention of the "Melo" crooner who took to his Twitter page to react.

The fan identified as @Hadamsnihyihex4, requested the rapper to leak Big Wiz's songs because he knows the "Ginger" crooner would not be angry at Olamide, since they are friends.

"Baddo how much you go collect abeg i wan make you help me leak like 5 Wizkid songs and videos na your paddy so him know fit para for you", he wrote.


However, Olamide's response was something else.

Thousands Of People Sign Petition To Cancel Travis Scott’s Coachella Performance

About 5,500 people have signed a petition to stop American singer, Travis Scott, from performing at next year's Coachella Festival following Friday's Astroworld crowd crush tragedy.

The embattled 30-year-old entertainer started facing challenges after  eight people died at his Astroworld event in Houston following a stampede. Fans screamed for help shortly after Scott stepped onstage, but it was reported that he continued performing for more than 30 minutes and completed his set.

While Scott has insisted he had no idea what was occurring in the crowd, music lover Sendero Secretos started a Change.org petition to block the star from appearing at Coachella in April.


Secretos in the petition addressed to Coachella's official organizers, AEG, Paul Tollet and Goldenvoice, claimed the "tragic and unnecessary deaths" at Astroworld occurred "due to Scott's own gross negligence and sheer lack of compassion for human life."

Eight victims of the tragedy have been identified as Danish Baig, 27; Madison Dubiski, 23; Rudy Peña, 23; Jake Jurinek, 20; Franco Patino, 21; Axel Acosta, 21; Brianna Rodriguez, 16; and John Hilgert, 14.
 
Scott has also been accused of inciting chaos at his concerts in the past. He was charged over music festivals in Arkansas in 2017 and in Chicago in 2015 for whipping up hysteria and encouraging moshing that left a security guard and concertgoers injured.

Comedienne Princess, Calls Out Colleagues Buchi, Alibaba, Others For Not Publicizing Her Upcoming Show

For failing to publicize her upcoming show, Comedienne Princess, has taken to Instagram to call out her colleagues in the industry.

The comedienne who wept in a video she shared, said she reached out to these people and they failed to help her publicize her show while some of them gave excuses.


She said

"I made this video specifically for some people. So my show is five days away and I have been trying my best to publicise it and all that, but to my shock and greatest surprise, the people that I really really expected to help me post it, they did not even post it on their pages. So instead of calling each of them one after the other, I decided to do this video so that they would know the way I feel.

People like TeeA, Gbenga Adeyinka, Alibaba, Julius, people that gave me mind that we are right behind you. They did not even post to tell people about my show. The people that are even on the bill, my son Jaywon, he did not post it. I don't think I have seen it on Vector's page. I called Josh2Funny, he said he posted it but I don't know. I personally called Arole, he didn't post it.

No wahala, whether you post it or not, the show would come and go.

I even forgot Buchi the comedian. Welldone! Nothing I will do that I will ask you to post, you will be forgetting or will tell me you didn't see it. Since you moved to the Island and made new friends, you now act as if you don't have a past."

‘Quantum Leap’ Star Dean Stockwell Passes On

Oscar- and Emmy-nominated actor, Dean Stockwell, is dead.

Dean Stockwell, whose career on stage, in film and TV spanned more than 70 years, has died at the age of 85.

The Quantum Leap star died on November 7 at home of natural causes, a rep for the family confirmed to Deadline.

Stockwell was born in 1936 in North Hollywood. By the time he was 7, he was on Broadway, launching a career as a child actor. He appeared in Anchors Aweigh with Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly, Kim with Errol Flynn, Gentleman's Agreement, and the controversial 1948 movie The Boy With the Green Hair.

As a young adult, Stockwell returned to the Broadway stage in Compulsion with Roddy McDowall, who became a lifelong friend. Stockwell reprised his role in the film version and won his first of two Best Actor awards at the Cannes Film Festival. He also starred in Sons and Lovers and Long Day's Journey Into Night with Katherine Hepburn.
 
Between 2004 and 2009, Stockwell appeared in the Battlestar Galactica reboot as Brother Cavil.

Other roles included Blue Velvet, Paris and Texas, and the original Dune, which was remade this year.

Stockwell won two best actor awards at the Cannes Film Festival and received a best-supporting actor Oscar nomination for his role in the 1988 comedy-crime movie Married to the Mob.

The North Hollywood native became a household name with his iconic role as Admiral Al Calavicci in hit sci-fi TV series Quantum Leap, which he appeared in from 1989 to 1993.

He is survived by his wife, Joy Stockwell; and their two children, Austin Stockwell and Sophie Stockwell.

Travis Scott Vows To Cover All Funeral Costs For Victims Of Astroworld Show

All the funeral costs of those killed at Travis Scott's Astroworld Festival in Houston will be covered by the rapper.

The rapper made the vow, after a total of eight people died and hundreds of others were injured when a crowd surged toward the festival's stage during his performance last Friday night at NRG Park.

In a statement obtained by CNN and ABC News, a representative for the artist said Scott will also provide further aid for people affected by Friday's tragedy.

Additionally, the representative said Scott has partnered with BetterHelp to supply free one-on-one therapy, and he's working with local organizations to direct those in need to proper mental health services.


Authorities are continuing to investigate what exactly went wrong and who may be responsible. That includes reviewing safety procedures and videos, as well as interviewing witnesses.

Those who died in the incident range in age from 14 to 27. These are their names, according to Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo.

23-year-old Rodolfo Peña of Laredo
23-year-old Madison Dubiski of Cypress
21-year-old Franco Patiño of Illinois

Actress, Victoria Ekanoye Diagnosed With Breast Cancer After Welcoming A Son

English actress, Adebisi Victoria M Ekanoye, known professionally as Victoria Ekanoye has been diagnosed with breast cancer barely few months after welcoming her first child.

The 39 years old British-Nigerian actress, known for playing Angie Appleton in Coronation Street, broke the heartbreaking news to OK! Magazine, revealing that she discovered a lump in her breast while feeding Theo, 11 months, who she shares with husband Jonny Lomas, before doctors investigated.

She said: 'I was diagnosed on October 13 with DCIS, which is Ductal carcinoma in situ. It basically means that cells have turned cancerous within the milk ducts.'

Victoria told the publication: 'Back in July I was feeding Theo and I noticed there was a small lump protruding at the top of my left breast.

'My mum had breast cancer at 41, and her sister at 39 – so many people in my family, in fact. So I don't really leave any time before I check these things…

'I was diagnosed on the thirteenth of October with DCIS, which is Ductal carcinoma in situ. It basically means that cells have turned cancerous within the milk ducts…

'We're being really optimistic, and positive, and really lucky that we've caught it as early as we have. I don't know if lucky is the right word, but that's how I feel.'

Earlier this year, Victoria, who played Angie Appleton in the soap, revealed she feared her 'miracle' baby boy would die during her traumatic three-day labour due to complications involving her sickle cell anaemia.

Breastcancer.org defines DCIS as: 'Ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) is non-invasive breast cancer. Ductal means that the cancer starts inside the milk ducts, carcinoma refers to any cancer that begins in the skin or other tissues (including breast tissue) that cover or line the internal organs, and in situ means "in its original place."

'DCIS is called "non-invasive" because it hasn't spread beyond the milk duct into any normal surrounding breast tissue. DCIS isn't life-threatening, but having DCIS can increase the risk of developing an invasive breast cancer later on.'

Popular Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh cries out over the level of distrust she has developed over a period of time so much so that she dislikes seeing or staying around individuals.

The mother of one took to her Instagram story to declare her intention of getting a Personal Assistant (PA) and a nanny, but stated that she finds it quite difficult to trust people nowadays.

On a second thought, the thespian considered getting a robot instead.

Popular therapist, Jaruma has shared a voicenote of herself complaining bitterly about Regina Daniels and what she does to her.

In the voicenote which was shared by Jaruma herself, Jaruma complained to Regina's mom Rita Daniels, about Regina's attitude.

Jaruma claimed that Regina Daniels has been snubbing her and ignoring her calls, despite the fact that she allegedly showed kindness to her family and paid her money for influencing.

Apparently, Jaruma allegedly paid Regina the sum of N10million for a 6months deal to advertise her kayanmata products and help her gain visibility.

According to her, she met with man named Lanre who claimed to be Obi Cubana's manager for five years, only to find out that he lives in a two-bedroom apartment.

Nollywood actress, Etinosa Idemudia has questioned African elders over their failure to give an apology, when they're wrong.

Etinosa took to her official Instagram page on Sunday, November 7th, to express her worry over this decades old behaviour among elders.

According to the actress, this toxic behaviour in Nigerian homes and families needs to stop, and that change begins with her.

Why do African elders find it so difficult to admit and apologize for their wrongs? Especially to a younger person either in age or societal hierarchy. "Do you know who I am" mentality.

We permit this toxic behaviour in our families and it also plays out in government where so called "constituted authorities" feel so big to be accountable, to answer to the "commoners".

It must stop. The change begins with me."
