Reality star, Mercy Eke disclose The Whopping Sum Her Reality TV Show Costs

Big Brother Naija season 4 Pepper Dem reality television star and ex-housemate, cum show winner, Mercy Chinenyenwa Eke, has bragged about the whopping sum of money her reality TV show, 'Mercy What Next?' costs.\

Mercy Eke bragged that the show, which premiered in October, is worth N500 million.

She added that the reality TV show, which bothers on her lifestyle and family, is number 1 show on Africa Magic.

The reality star made this known via a post she shared on her Snapchat page, Monday, November 15.

Mercy Eke also appreciated Africa Magic, Showmax, DStv and her amiable supporters and viewers, for the successful season 2, as she gears up for the season 3 of the TV show.
 
"Back to back hit, trend. Watch out for season 3. N500 million naira show. Run am if e easy. Thank you DStv, Africa Magic, Showmax, Redpepper, viewers."

"I am exhausted, but I have to work. My show is number 1 on Africa Magic. E for Energy," Mercy wrote.

The Imo State-native also made it clear in the video below that she returned from vacation and kicked off the shooting of season 3 of the show.

Mercy Eke's show kicked off it's first season in 2019, after she won the Big Brother Naija season 4, Pepper Dem reality television show.

It was initially named, Mercy and Ike show, highlighting on her life and that of her then BBNaija boyfriend, Ike Onyema, who later broke up with her.

The show got rebranded after the infamous breakup between the lovebirds, whom their fans and supporters were hoping to get married to each other.

Saga who was with Angel at the reality show has now reacted to the move, noting that Angel is worth the new milestone.

Movie On Nigerian Street Children Set For Premiere

'The Oratory', a brand-new movie showing the predicaments of street children in Nigeria, is slated for premiere on November 20 in Lagos state and November 27 in Abuja.

'The Oratory', directed by Obi Emelonye, featured Nigerian and international movie stars such as Enyinna Nwigwe, Celeste Marcone, Florence Uwaleke, Andrea Charles Ukpong, and Rich Lowe Ikenna.

It was shot in various locations in Rome, Atlanta, Lagos, and Turin.

The movie produced by Cyril Odia is based on an African-American missionary story who was inspired by the Italian saint Don Bosco. Bosco was renowned for dedicating his life to the betterment and education of street children, juvenile delinquents, and other disadvantaged youth.

Odia said there are over 100,000 street children who are vulnerable to negative societal issues such as violence, sexual abuse, trafficking, and crime.
 
He described this situation as a time bomb that requires concerted efforts by local and international stakeholders.

Proceeds from the movie premieres would allegedly be used to resource existing shelters in Lagos and Ibadan and to open up new child protection centers for street children across Nigeria.

Premieres for 'The Oratory' have already been held in Dublin, London, Turin, and Venice.

It will screen roadshow style in four continents and in over 16 cities before year-end 2021.

Shade Ladipo — People are not watching Gulder Ultimate Search because there’s no drama or freaky moments

Media personality, Shade Ladipo has disclosed the reason why many people are not watching the GUS reality show.

According to her, the reason is because people are aware that the show is lacking in intimate content, drama and freaky moments.

Recall that social media users have earlier dragged Toke Makinwa, who's the host of this year's Gulder Ultimate Search edition, as the reason why Nigerians have lost interest in the show.

However, while reacting to the accusations, Shade Ladipo has asked people to stop bullying Toke Makinwa.

"People are not watching GUS because there is no sxx, love or drama (that involves sxx/love)& awww. You people shoo let Baby Girl for life drink water and drop cup naa," she wrote on her Instagram Stories.

Man calls out Teni, over unfulfilled N100K promise — “That money will change things in my family”

A Nigerian man has called out singer, Teni on social media, over an alleged promise of N100k, which is still unfulfilled at the moment.

According to the man, identified as @taiwooflovelybrozy, Teni who was in Ibadan in September this year for an event, promised him the sum of one hundred thousand naira (N100,000) while performing on stage, but hasn't kept the promise.

He claimed that Teni had asked him to meet her manager at the back stage for the cash gift, at the time. However, upon meeting the manager, he was made to write down his account number and also asked to copy the manager's number on Teni's Instagram page to send his account number for the money to be sent to his account.


The man said he called Teni manager's number the next day, but he gave an excuse that the singer was busy and would get back to him when she is less busy.

He also revealed that he called back the following day, but was told the same excuse and after that, the manager refused to pick up his calls or reply his messages, even after sending numerous messages stating that his life and many things in his family depends on the money.


To backup his claims, he has shared a video clip which captured the moment, where Teni on stage, promised to give him the money.

Nigerian gospel musician, Dunni Olarewaju (popularly known as Opelope Anointing), has spoken concerning the history of her relationship with Reverend Esther Ajayi and her husband.

Dunni recently made some revelations during her ministration.

You may have heard of Rev. Esther Ajayi (popularly known as Iya Adura), the head of the Love Of Christ Generation Church (LOC). Esther Ajayi is one of the top clergywomen in the country.

Speaking about her history with Esther Ajayi, Adunni said,

"Reverend Esther Ajayi invited me to the UK shortly after I released Opelope Anointing, and I obliged. Since then, the Reverend Mother has not left me alone, and she has been assisting me financially since then. She often calls her financial gift "lunch money". I made her the grand matron of my music ministry, and she happily accepted it. However, She almost made me run 'mad' about eight years ago."

Narrating further, Dunni added,

"The incident took place six days before the anniversary of my music ministry, and we did not have as much as N20,000 for it. I summoned my children and informed them about my predicament, but they were more concerned about hunger.

"Thirty minutes after I summoned my children, I got a bank alert which made me question my eyesight. I had to call someone else to help me verify that it was N1,500,000. I nearly ran 'mad' in the room, but I did not know who sent the money. I decided to spend the money anyway until I received a phone call from the Reverend Mother, informing me that she gifted the money to me. I questioned where she saw that huge amount of money at the time, and she told me that day that the wealth was yet to arrive, but it will arrive soon. She also told me that day that she had sent N1 million each to two of my acquaintances."

Popular TV presenter, Toke Makinwa pours out her heart to a lady who suggested that she does not fit the role of a host on the Gulder Ultimate Search show.

According to a viewer of the 2021 GUS, the show lacks the thrill expected of it as a result of Toke's role as the host which she considered 'weird.'

"The truth is viewers lost interest in guider ultimate search the moment they announced toke makinwa as the host. This isn't about h'ting or anything, i just believe every TV host and OAP have their own area of specialisation, toke makinwa hosting GUS is as weird as asking someone like Frank edoho to come and host a beauty pageant show, wetin consine agbero and final year exam?
If at all there will be a new season, then the organisers needs to do better if they really want viewers and ratings on their show, they should learn to appoint people on merit and credibility," the viewer wrote.

Winner of the big brother naija reality show, Hazel Oyeze Onou, popularly known as Whitemoney and his closest housemate while in the house, Queen Mercy Atang have blocked each other on Instagram.

It would be recalled that Whitemoney and Queen were very close during the course of the show even though their relationship went a bit cold after the conclusion of BBNaija.

21-year-old Akwa Ibom-born writer and Big Brother Naija former housemate, Angel Agnes Smith, has said her boobs and whatever she does with them is no-one's business.

Angel made this known in an interview with TheSun while reacting to the question about her most prized possession that she would love to insure.

"Honestly, it's not anybody's business what I do with my boobs. I will rather insure my eyes because I have an intense eyes alongside my most prized possession which is my mind," she said.

Speaking further, Angel said she knew people were going to drag her for wearing revealing clothes on Big Brother Naija show but she didn't care.


"I am not stereotypical. I don't think the way every other person thinks. I am strategic and smart. My most prized possession is my mind, as it has always put me in many beautiful positions," she said.
 
"Actually, it has been a blessing because once my mind is active, I go to work. My mind has put me in many beautiful places and not my physical endowment or appearance. It's my mind that took me to Big Brother and gave me this huge platform that has made so many people now want to listen to me,"

Angel noted that now that she is in the spotlight, nothing significant would change about her personality.

"Before the Big Brother, I was a bit reserved compared to when I was in the house where I had to push my emotions aside just to participate in some of the games, even if I didn't feel like doing it. Now outside the house, I am back to my natural self and the way I talk, dress and have fun, which I am not going to tone down, it's nobody's business," she added.

Debunking the rumor, the actor's wife shared photos of him before and after the Afriff Globe Awards that took place on Saturday, November 14th.

Fast-rising music star, Daniel Benson better known as Buju opens up on why he decided not to extend his contract with the Grammy winner, Burna Boy.

Buju was signed to Burna Boy's label, Spaceship Collective in 2020 and released 'Lenu' remix with Burna Boy.

However, in an interview with Hip TV, the singer disclosed that he refused to extend the contract which ended in 2021 because he wanted to do things differently.
