Omotola Jalade under fire over comment on Lekki Toll Gate shooting – “Your conscience will judge you”

Social media users have arisen to drag the veteran Nollywood star, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde over her comment as regards the Lekki Toll Gate shooting.

At the peak of the unfortunate incident, the actress had taken to her Twitter handle to question the possibility of people being killed during a peaceful protest.

She further urged the family of those who lost their relatives during the incident to speak up and further stated that if nobody was shot, then people should stop the sensationalisation of the Lekki Toll Gate shooting.


The tweet reads:

"If people died during the Lekki Toll Assualt, let their people speak out please, and if there were no death, then enough with the sensationalisation because it does not remove from the crime that happened. Peaceful protesters were, why? by who?"

Chico Ejiro’s last son, Viano passes on less than one year after father’s death

Viano, the last son of the late Nollywood movie director, Chico Ejiro is dead from cancer, less than a year after his father's death.

Chico Ejiro kicked the bucket in the early hours of Christmas Day, December 25, 2020, of complications arising from High Blood Pressure (HBP).

His last child, Viano however, had been battling cancer for years and his late father had devoted his life and resources to his treatment.


Even so, after Chico's death, his widow Joy Chico Ejiro recently moved to the United States to get the best healthcare for their son who was diagnosed with cancer while still a toddler.

Sadly, Viano lost the battle to the disease and was pronounced dead yesterday, Monday November 15th, less than 11 months after his father's demise.

Oye Kyme hints –I’m going to Nigeria this December to ask Bobrisky to forgive me

Crossdresser, Bobrisky's ex-PA, Oye Kyme has disclosed her intention of flying down to Nigeria to ask her former boss to forgive her.

Oye Kye who hails from Côte d'Ivoire disclosed this via her Instagram story where she stated that she wants a one-on-one interaction with Bobrisky.

Illuminating her reason for peace, Oye noted that she doesn't want to be at loggerheads with the male barbie come 2022.

She wrote:

"This year is ending well cause am going to Nigeria to see my former boss Bob, this December to ask for real forgiveness face to face because I don't want to enter 2022 like this."

Falz reacts to Lagos judicial panel’s report on Lekki toll gate shooting –“These animals made us doubt our sanity”

Popular rapper, Folarin Falana better known as Falz has reacted to Lagos judicial panel's report which served as proof that people were killed at Lekki toll gate last year, 2020.

The judicial panel in their report held that Nigerian soldiers and other security agents were responsible for the "killing and forced disappearances of harmless and unarmed youths protesting at Lekki Tollgate on October 20, 2020".

The Justice Doris Okuwobi-led panel made the revelation in a 309-page report submitted to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Monday, November 15.

Reacting to this, Falz, an ardent activist and major proponent of the #EndSARS movement fumed while stating that some animals made them doubt their sanity as regards what happened at Lekki toll gate on 20th October 2021.

Relationship expert, Blessing Okoro takes to social media to reflect on singers who made a mockery of her after the viral Onye Eze's scandal.

Recall that the self-acclaimed No.1 relationship expert in Africa got into a messy situation in 2019 after she flaunted a mansion that wasn't hers in a bid to depict affluence which practically wasn't real.

Nine-Year-Old Passes On After Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival

The death toll from a deadly crowd surge at a rap concert in Texas has grown to 10, according to a lawyer for the victims, after a nine-year-old child who was stomped during the event died of his injuries.

While attending a performance by hip-hop singer Travis Scott, scores of concertgoers were wounded on November 5 in Houston at the Astroworld Festival when they were crushed against barricades, unable to move or breathe as the crowd surged toward the stage.

Attendees reported that some fell and others toppled on top of them, crushing the bodies beneath and that the density of the throng closer to the stage made it difficult to pick them up and evacuate them.


Among them was nine-year-old Ezra Blount, who sustained severe injuries and was placed in a medically induced coma as doctors fought for his life.

Ben Crump, a prominent US attorney representing the victims of the tragedy, issued a statement late Sunday saying that Blount had succumbed to his injuries.

"The Blount family tonight is grieving the incomprehensible loss of their precious young son," Crump said.

"This should not have been the outcome of taking their son to a concert, what should have been a joyful celebration. Ezra's death is absolutely heartbreaking."

At least 60 lawsuits have been announced singling out Scott and fellow singer Drake, who took to the stage in the final 15 minutes of the concert — well after authorities had declared an emergency.

He stated this in an Instagram story post.

The club was closed down after a tragic event involving a female clubber who was electrocuted yesterday night.
