Popular Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede celebrates the multiple awards bagged on a movie at the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival, TINFF.

The thespian who co-produced a movie titled 'Marrying A Campbell' happily flaunted the result of the hard work of her team on the project.

Taking to Instagram to share photos of the awards, Yvonne Jegede wrote;

Gordons celebrates mother as she gets married at age 72

The mother to veteran stand-up comedian, Godwin Komone, popularly known as Gordons, has recently got married at the age of 72.

The veteran comedian made this known to his followers and fellow Industry colleagues via his official Instagram page on Sunday, stating that true love does exist.

Gordons then shared a photo taken at his mother's marriage ceremony, which according to him, took place on Saturday and captioned it, writing;

"My mother got married yesterday at the age of 72. Don't tell me true love doesn't exist. Congratulations mama."


The lovely photo as seen below, shows Gordons all smiles with his mother and her husband together.

Veteran actress, Gloria Mba recently survived a ghastly car accident yesterday, Sunday November 7, at her base in the U.S.

Gloria Mba, who lives in Washington D.C, USA took to her social media page to disclose the news of what happened on her way back home, to her friends and fans.

Even so, the actress wrote on Facebook;

"I have come to say thank you Lord today. The devil tried but God's mercy says no. Came out unscathed from this accident. Friday will always be a day to remember, the Lord never leaves his own this I know. Thank you Odogwu chineke 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌"

This is coming weeks after the dancer reconciled with her husband following an affair with Prince Kpokpogri who allegedly leaked tape of the bedroom act.

According to Janemena in a post, trolls owe themselves a fight against poverty and also a reason to be happy.

"Sometimes put trolling and hate for others aside and find how you are gonna get yourself out of poverty and be genuinely happy," she wrote.

This is coming following the series of backlashes that trailed the reality star over her affair with a married man which brought to light many secrets about Maria's sponsorship to the show.

Human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu backs popular content creator, Taaooma, following the backlash that trailed her visit to the Aso Villa in Abuja.

Taaooma, alongside other comedians, met with the vice-president of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo on affairs involving the youths and an award-related presentation that ended up being criticized by Nigerians.

In reaction, Aisha Yesufu backed the action of Taaooma and others involved in the visit as she affirmed that their intention is really what counts.

Uche Maduagwu drags Lagos State Governor —“Stop magnifying negligence with 3-day mourning declaration”

Actor, Uche Maduagwu has dragged Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for declaring a 3-day mourning period over the Ikoyi building collapse.

Uche Maduagwu in a post shared on his Instagram page, said the governor should stop "magnifying his negligence" by declaring such mourning period.

According to him, the Lagos State governor did not declare any period of mourning for victims of the Lekki toll gate shooting incident that happened in October 2020.


The Nollywood actor also questioned why the Ikoyi building which was supposed to have 15 storeys, had 21 storeys built and no Lagos Government agency monitored compliance, the same way they monitor okada riders in the state.

Adding to his point, he stated that sugar mummies are known to be possessive and very aggressive.

Just as the call was about to end the call, Pere laughed out loud as he revealed that it was a prank call.

Singer, Iledare makes Hollywood movie debut

Nigerian singer, Iledare Oluwajuwonlon also known as Jaywon, has made his Hollywood debut in a new movie, Army of Thieves.

The artiste took to his social media page to make the recent announcement, as he shared a video showing some scenes which featured him in the movie.

The movie, Army of Thieves which was released in October, is a heist-comedy prequel to Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead movie.




Jaywon shared 11-minute footage from the movie on his Instagram page, while revealing the new development to his followers.

He could also be heard saying: "Finally watching the movie mehn..", while the short video clip shows scenes from the movie.

Mohbad allegedly arrested in Cyprus

Singer, Mohbad has allegedly been arrested and detained at an airport by law enforcement agents, in the Republic of Cyprus.

Mohbad, who took to his Instagram Stories to disclose this to his fans on Saturday, stated that he's currently been held up in an airport prison.

According to the "Feel Good" crooner, who's currently signed to Naira Marley's Marlian Music label, his detention in Cyprus is as a result of being played dirty, by the organiser of a show he performed at.


Mohbad wrote on his Insta Stories;

"I've been stucked at the Cyprus airport prison

Man insists – “It’s no big deal that Davido hasn’t won a Grammy”

Twitter user argues that it is not a big that the popular Afrobeat singer, Davido Adeleke, is yet to win the prestigious Grammy award.

According to a user identified Daniel Regha, the award is not a yardstick to measure success as he cited examples of celebrated singers who never received a Grammy in their name despite their achievement in the music industry.


"Davido hasn't won a Grammy, that's no big deal; Lots of music icons like 2Pac, Nicki, Sia, Katy Perry, Bob Marley & many more haven't won one either despite being on top of their game. Stop belittling artistes cos of Grammys, it's not a yardstick for success. It is just an award," he wrote.
