the 10th Day of Christmas Posted: 03 Jan 2022 11:07 AM PST   Manger Cookies Mix these ingredients together thoroughly: 1 stick softened butter 1 c brown sugar 1/2 c chopped walnuts 1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp cinnamon grated rind from 1 orange then add:  3/4 c flour Kneed into a ball of dough. Roll into small balls 1 tbsp of dough & place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten them w/a fork. Bake @ 375o for 12 minutes. Let cool thoroughly & maybe dip into melted white chocolate. Makes about 2 dozen.
