Former Big Brother Naija 'Shine Ya Eye' Housemate Pere Egbi has issued a severe warning to Close Associates taking him for granted.

In a post shared on the microblogging platform, Twitter Pere said having access to him is rare as he hardly let strangers into his space.

Pere said he isn't joking this year, as anyone who abuses their access to him or takes it for granted will get blocked on his page.

In his words:

"Having access to me is rare as I hardly let people I don't know into my space. You abuse that access and take if for granted, I am blocking your existence. This is 2022. I am not playing"

This comes following the headlines of Mercy Aigbe's secret marriage to Kazim Adeoti who was a family friend during their marriage that ended in 2017.

Taking to Instagram to react to the news, Lanre Gentry expresses gratitude as he shares throwback photo of himself with Adekaz, and his then-wife, Mercy.

Mercy Aigbe, however, snubbed all side distractions as she took to her Instagram page to celebrate her new husband with more photos.

Making the rounds on social media is a recent photo of popular Nollywood actress, Nkechi blessing which reveals her to be at the home of senator Dino Melaye.

Netizens reacting to the post have surmised that the actress is probably romantically linked with the senator.

Controversial Instagram blogger, Gistlover, who posted the photo, had made clear to their follower that Nkechi Blessing and other Nollywood stars are, at the moment, shooting a film in Abuja and are making use of Dino's house.

Because they were only using Dino Melaye's residence for movie production, the blogger advised netizens to avoid giving Nkechi Blessing's husband Opeyemi excessive blood pressure.

Nollywood actor, Ugezu J Ugezu, has taken to social media to thank God after miraculously escaping death in a car accident.

The actor and his family got involved in a terrible car accident and his colleague, Ibiwari Etuk earlier made the announcement on Instagram. She wrote:

"Guys join me and thank The most high God who saved my boss @ugezujugezu and his family today from a terrible accident at upper Iweka onitsha . We are grateful Lord for this huge testimony.

Prior to this year's valentine's day, singer Peter Okoye of defunct P-square has taken to social media to advice African men and women on appropriate gifts to get their partners.

Looks like a close relative of former Big Brother Naija housemate, TBoss, has caused her pain as she has taken to social media to lament about the tears 'enemies' within inflict on their supposed loved ones.

According to Tboss most of the pains people go through are usually caused by someone close to them.

Speaking further, the single mother of one also said that one's enemies are not so far from them. She declared that 90% of the time, they are usually near you.

The Nigerian super Eagles team was knocked out of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations after losing to Tunisia 1 – 0 in the Round of 16.

Abimbola Kazeem, a popular Nollywood actor better known as Jigan Babaoja has lamented about the level of insecurity in the country after escaping a robbery incident in Lagos.

Oranges are one of the cheapest and most common fruit in Nigeria today. They also add many benefits to one's health.

Here are five reasons you should take more oranges;

1. Oranges increase water consumption for the day
One orange is the equivalent of half cup of water. Men are supposed to take roughly four litres of water, and women should drink about three litres of water in a day.

Drinking enough water helps your metabolism, organs, helps with weight loss and gives you energy.

2. Protects the skin
Oranges contain Vitamin C. Topical Vitamin C or oral Vitamin C works like magic on your skin. They protect the skin from free radicals that can cause wrinkles and skin damage.

3. Protects the eyes
Oranges possess carotenoids, and this keeps the mucus membrane healthy thus maintaining almost perfect eyesight.

Macular degeneration also affects eyesight as people age; oranges reduce damage ageing brings.

4. Lowers blood pressure
Another nutritional component of oranges is Vitamin B6 and magnesium. These nutrients promote good blood health. Vitamin B6 increases the production of haemoglobin which regulates blood pressure.

5. Helps with constipation
Oranges are a source of soluble and insoluble fibre. If you are feeling constipated or have irritable bowel, oranges help with the smooth running of the stomach.

Taking whole oranges is better than drinking packaged orange juice. You might be fooled into thinking that drinking orange juice is just as good as an actual orange but they are packed with calories and preservatives that are not so healthy.

Freshly squeezed orange juice is better.

Nevertheless, some people might be allergic to oranges because of citric and ascorbic acid which may cause heartburn.

Iyabo Ojo warns parents on sensitive content exposure – “TikTok is not an app for kids”

Popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo encourages parents on the need to set a limit for their kids on the use of TikTok app.

According to the mother of two, the video sharing platform contains contents which may be too sensitive for kids to view.

Adding to her point, Iyabo Ojo advised on including children's ages on the app so it would automatically filter content in respect to their age.


"I noticed that a lot of parents especially parents with kids of between 4 to 13 years old allow their kids download TikTok but I don't think you know they neeed to put their age on it so that they are restricted to certain things they can see on TikTok because TikTok is not an app for kids. A lot of things go on on TikTok and they probably might get confused especially when they get to see a whole lot of things that I don't think you want to grow up and become," she said.
