British rapper Stephanie Victoria Allen, known professionally as Stefflon Don has sparked reactions on social media after making a monkey joke in new video.

On Wednesday, Stefflon shared a video of her talking to her monkey pet as she complained about the animal not giving her attention like her ex-boyfriend.

In the video, the rapper could be heard telling the pet "This is why I broke up with you the last time".

Stefflon Don also noted via the video that the monkey has grown fond of keeping to himself.

She said: "I am talking to you and you're not listening, you're not even saying much. I can't really do this no more, Goerge. See what I'm saying? You're not even listening to me, you're there eating a carrot. I need more affection. need some more time from you. Do you see what I'm saying? This is why I broke up with you the last time."

Reacting, Fans took to the comment section and asserted that she subtly shaded Burna Boy as the singer has become famous for using a Gorilla as his emoji on social media, a move that signify that he's the African Giant.

A lady has taken to Facebook to reveal how she found out that her mother is the reason she is not yet married.

According to the lady simply identified as Ify, suitors have been leaving her for no reason, and after seeking solution to her problem, a pastor claimed that her mother is the reason behind her bad ordeal.

She narrated,

"Many of you have been asking why I'm avoiding my mother. What do you do when you find out that your own mother is a witch and the cause of your suffering. My mother has finished me and whenever I see her, I want to strangle her.

Five years ago when I was in school, I was having suitors from all around the place. Even from abroad. But whenever they come to my house, they will change their minds and say they are not marrying me again.

I didn't reason it in school because I was still young and I was like, I don't even want to marry now. But after I graduated it continued.

I began to complain to my mother then and she would say bla bla bla. God's time is the best.

Then I began to seek solutions and on that particular day, she was at home, and I told her I'm going to a church to pray over myself. And she kicked against it. Saying I should not start moving from church to church.

I refused and I left to church. In church, the pastor revealed to me that my own mother is the cause of my predicament. She has vowed that her own daughter will not get married. But I will surely break this evil covenant".

A video which has gone viral on social media captured moment a big man was asked to leave his Banana Island home for supposedly failing to pay rent.

Tens of security operatives stormed the man's house to evict him, but found no one home. They decided to make their way upstairs when they were accosted by the occupant who vehemently refused to leave; rather, he demanded that they leave his home.

Although the Security men paid no heed to the occupant as they ordered their boys to evict him.

The man refused to vacate the mansion without a fight as he insisted they cannot remove him from his home and demanded that they leave his house.

Hushpuppi allegedly commits $400k fraud from US prison

New accusations have been filed against the arrested socialite, Ramon Abbas, better known as Hushpuppi, claiming that he committed fraud and laundered more than $400,000 while in the US police custody.

The new evidence was brought to the United States District Court of California on March 16th, 2022, indicting him of fraud and money laundering at a U.S. Federal penitentiary institution.

According to documents released by the FBI, the accused, while in U.S Federal correctional facility, allegedly engaged in the acquisition and washing of Economic Impact Payment debit cards obtained unlawfully from stolen data of US individuals and residents.

According to the CARES Act, the US government provides financial assistance to U.S. citizens who relocate abroad. Debit cards are a method of receiving Economic Impact Payments for qualifying US residents.

To file for and get Economic Impact Payments debit cards, hackers used data from documents produced in court. These EIP cards are sold to other cybercriminals in underground marketplaces.

United States authorities said that although prisoners have limited access to a telephone, video, internet and computer use because of their right to privacy in a court filing. Like the rest of the detainees, Hushpuppi was granted access to the computer network as well.

However, between January 28 and March 4, 2022, security authorities at a federal prison in the United States noticed that Hushpuppi was using the internet more often.

They secured an order to record Hushpuppi's actions after learning that he had been detained for internet-related offences and that the warrant would be used against him. His activities were tracked over the course of seven days on a system built up just for him.

An underground cybercriminal marketplace was discovered to be selling EIP debit cards to Hushpuppi. A total of 58 EIP debit cards, worth $429,800, were purchased on the site by Hushpuppi while he was being filmed and laundered the money through one AJ….

According to her, with everything that's currently going on in her life –her divorce, blames from fans and friends– she can't close off herself and log off from social media, because that's where she makes her living.

Thanking her stars that she never made social media her main source of income, the media personality advised people not to be reliant on only social media as a source of income, but to ensure that they diversify their sources of income.

Simi – How Nigerian Leaders Are Destroying Dreams And Chances Of Great Future

Famous Nigerian entertainer, Simi, has tackled Nigeria leaders.

Simi who opined that the state of Nigeria presently is not conducive for an average citizen, said choices made by leaders have killed so many dreams of young Nigerians.

Highlighting the cost of fuel, ASUU strike amongst other things affecting the country, Simi mentioned that for every one person that is living their dreams, there are thousands just trying not to die.

On her Twitter page, she wrote: "I think the most dangerous thing about Nigeria is that it has killed too many dreams. All the things that we'll never get to see because the nation is not conducive enough for the average person to dream and build.

"You cannot just say 'Take risks' when people just trying to get by are kidnapped and killed in broad daylight.

"I wish our leaders would actually settle down and think about how their choices not only affect the economy, and other obvious sectors of the country, but also how it's destroying our potential for a great future.

"The ripple effect of wickedness is thorough. And when this generation of leaders finally gets old enough to leave us alone, I hope it would not be too late."

Poland’s Karolina Biewleska Emerges as Miss World 2021

Karolina Biewleska was crowned at the 70th edition of the pageant at San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The beauty queen defeated USA, Indonesia, Mexico, Northern Ireland, and Cote d'Ivoire to emerge winner early on Thursday, March 17.

Miss USA, Shree Saini, who is an Indian-American, emerged first runner up, while Miss Cote d'Ivoire, Olivia Yace, emerged second runner up.

"When I heard my name I was shocked, I still can't believe it. I am honoured to wear the Miss World crown and can't wait to get to work. I will remember this amazing chapter in Puerto Rico for the rest of my life," Karolina Biewleska was quoted by the pageant organisers.
According to missworld.com, Karolina, who is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Management wishes to pursue her PhD. She is currently working as a model and hopes to become a motivational speaker.
The Miss World 2021 pageant was postponed from December due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

K1De Ultimate Reacts To Alleged Fight With Ayinde Barrister

More than 10 years after his demise, Veteran fuji musician and Mayegun of Yorubaland, Wasiu Ayinde, aka K1 de Ultimate, has said he will always be loyal to his former boss and fuji originator, late Sikiru Ayinde (Barrister).

While speaking at an event to celebrate the late Barrister, tagged, 'Sikiru Ayinde Barrister's First Colloquium', which was held at Radisson Blu, Ikeja, Lagos, on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, K1 said, "I am sorry that it took us over 10 years (since the demise of Barrister in 2010) to come up with a programme like this.

"However, a lot has been put in place. We had to wait for this long because there were various ideas we had to sample as regards doing this the right way.

"It took me a while to seek the support of relevant stakeholders in the industry to make this a reality. I called a lot of professionals and even Barrister's fans that he never met in his lifetime.

"It gladdens my heart to see the turnout here today. I could not just sit down in my house and make this happen. I needed support from stakeholders and I'm happy I got it. Today, it is obvious that the wait was worth it.

"I am doing this to honour the memory of a man I loved. I never had any animosity with my boss. Barrister has gone (passed on). One day, I'll also go; just like everybody else.

"But if we do the right thing, long after we are gone, the records of the contributions we made will always be there. Leadership changes and life continues. The only way to make an impact is to do something that would outlive one."

K1 also stated that plans were underway to get the government to immortalise the late Barrister.

He said, "The next stage is to get the government to immortalise Barrister. We also want them to declare that fuji music is the only indigenous African music that has evolved and endured over the years."

Calling on all fuji musicians to better position their careers, the 'Vivid Imagination' singer said, "I think this is the best time for all fuji musicians, wherever they might be, to draw from their inner strength, wake up from their slumber and boost the image of this genre of music.

"You may not like me but you cannot change the will of God over my life. So, it is better you join hands with me to duly recognise and celebrate the pathfinder of fuji music (Barrister), who created opportunities for many people."

K1 also maintained that he had given about five decades of his life to fuji music.

He said, "I started doing music at the age of 15. I may not be good at calculations but I am sure I have put in more than 50 years of my life into fuji music. If you think it's not a big deal, I think it means a lot."

While welcoming another fuji veteran, Ayinla Kollington, to the event, K1 said, "Permit me to welcome one of our fathers to this programme. It is my hope that one day, an event like this will also be held in his honour."

Other guests at the event, which was hosted by comedian and master of ceremonies, Gbenga Adeyinka, were Barrister's children, 9ice, Taiwo Hassan (Ogogo), Muka Ray; Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Akinbile Yussuf; and Steve Ayorinde, among others.

There were also performances by artistes such as 9ice, Pasuma, Taye Currency, Barry Jay (Barrister's son) and Kolade Onanuga.
