James Obilor, better known as James Brown, has denied being a crossdresser. 

As House of Reps members move to introduce crossdressers bill that will punish offenders with 6 months in jail, many crossdressers in Nigeria have come out to deny being crossdressers.

James Brown is the latest crossdresser to release a statement denying crossdressing. He tweeted:

"Point of correction, I am NOT a cross dresser. I am a DRAG Queen. Do your research before you come for me . My job is to entertain using my personality and my beauty , you already know the vibes ! I am a COMEDIAN. You thought I was making you laugh for no reason.

"I am PRINCESS OF AFRICA, This bill has nothing on me . Don't underestimate the power that I carry Ask my fans , ask those that know me personally ,on a daily, I give you James without all the glam and the feminine touch. Abeg efi mi si le, let me enjoy my life . Omo to dun toyin."

Recall, James brown had made jest of Tobi The Creator, who features in videos and photos with James Brown, after he denied being a crossdresser.

This comes following the engagement between the singer, Mr. Eazi, and Dj Cuppy's younger sister, Temi Otedola.

Prophetess to grant scholarship to children of late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu

Prophetess Rose Kelvin of Unveiling The Veiled City of Testimonies offers an educational scholarship to the children of the late singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu.

This comes following the arrest of the singer's husband over the death of his wife on the suspicion of domestic violence.

Taking to Facebook Prophetess Rose Kelvin pledged to give scholarships up to the University level to two of Osinachi's kids while noting that she might take all four if she could.

Expressing heartbreak over the incident, she wrote;

"I have cried my eyes out over the demise of Minister Osinachi Nwachukwu the gospel artist whom I have never met before but learnt on social media that she worked so hard to provide for her family.



The more I sob over her demise the more I see her innocent children in terrible hopeless situation as their mother who was their sole provider is no more.

Am led to grant scholarships to two of these 4 children to degree level, if possible four of them…
But I do not know how to go about this because I do not know the woman or her relatives.."

Twitter user reprimands popular singer, Alhaji Tekno, over his songwriting gig for Davido Adeleke, ahead of his upcoming album.

Tekno had taken to the microblogging platform, Twitter, to subtly threaten Davido against being sidelined on his upcoming album.

"@davido if the new album come out and I no dey inside🥳 don't talk to me again 🏌🏽‍♀️," he wrote.

In reaction, a user on the platform called the singer to attention as he explains the implication of writing songs for Davido.

Osinachi’s sister opens up– “Osinachi’s husband hit her on the chest; she didn’t die of throat cancer”

The family of late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu has refuted claims that the singer died of throat cancer.

News broke on Friday that the 'Ekwueme' singer had passed.

Reports claimed the singer died of throat cancer; although this was shown to be untrue as friends of the singer stated she died of domestic abuuusse instead.

Mrs Favor Made, the senior sister to the deceased singer and also the first daughter of the family, has confirmed the report on Sunday.

She stated that Osinachi cause of death was due to cluster of blood in the chest which was as a result of the kick she received from her husband.

According to daily post, she said:

"We heard it was cancer that killed Osinachi. She did not die of cancer. The husband, Mr Peter Nwachukwu hit her with his leg on the chest. All this while, he has been beating her but my sister hides all that she was passing through from us"

Osinachi's sister revealed that the family had counselled her to exit the marriage, she, however chose to pray so that God changes him.

In her words:

"We told her that they are not divorcing and that it's just a separation. But she felt that God is against divorce. We told her that separation is not a sin but just for her to stay alive and take care of her children. She will always tell us to relax and that the man will change.
So when the man kicked her in the chest, she fell down and he took her to the hospital but he did not even tell us"

When incident had happened, it was an acquaintance of Osinachi's twin sister who had contacted her to ask her if "Did your sister tell you that Peter hit her on the chest?"

The twin had said no.

"It was the hitting on the chest that killed her. My brother had to ask the doctor what killed her and the doctor said that there were clusters of blood on her chest," Mrs made said.

Osinachi's sister further revealed that the husband, Mr Nwachukwu, stopped her siblings from visiting her and stopped her from visiting her village as well.

When Osinachi died, Peter did not immediately contact her family, according to Made, and it was not until 8 p.m. that he leisurely notified their mom of the passing.

Despite all the accolades, which include international music collaborations with first-rated musicians across the globe, winning of the most reputable music award, Grammys, and other notable recognitions received by Nigerian musicians, their home country is faced with extreme poverty, poor electricity, hike in fuel price, economic hardship and poor leadership.

Tacha has now taken to her Twitter page to call the musicians in Nigeria to action as the 2023 elections are fast approaching. She questioned their sense of reasoning when asking them what they would tell their kids about the poverty-stricken Nigeria after all their international victories in music.

"Are we going to tell our kids how we sold out the O2 Arena?? Shut down Madison Square Garden and took AFROBEAT WORLDWIDE But couldn't EFFECT CHANGE IN THE COUNTRY we claim to love!! I'm really confuse! Help me out here."

Tacha further advised Nigerians to stop complaining about the sorry state of the country, but to get involved in politics to effect the change they actually want.

"Truth be told! 99% of POLITICAL POSITIONs will be held by APC and PDP COME 2023."

Swollen ankles during pregnancy are normal but they can be bothersome for many.

This happens because, during pregnancy, extra fluid in the body and the increasing pressure on the uterus causes swelling in the ankles and feet.

The swelling starts getting worse as the delivery date comes near. It increases even more during the evening and hot weather.

While mild swelling is no cause of concern, swelling in the face and hands can be an indicator of a condition called preeclampsia (high blood pressure during pregnancy).

Because these swollen feet can be painful and uncomfortable, here are a few tips that can help you ease the symptoms:

Reduce the intake of sodium
One of the easiest ways to reduce swelling during pregnancy is by limiting your intake of salt. This is because salt makes your body hold the extra water.

Bobrisky declares gender, reveals plan to escape jail term

Following the anti-cross dressing bill passed by the House of Representatives, Bobrisky Okuneye gives clarification on her gender.

According to the bill passed by the House of Reps., crossdressers may be facing jail terms over their affairs and influence on the masses.

In reaction, Bobrisky affirmed her gender as a full-blown female while emphasizing the countless surgeries underwent to achieve that status.

"I am not a cross dresser, I am a woman. I have done so many surgeries that can't be reversed such as Lipo, boobs, etc. When the time comes even court self go confirm am say I am now a girl," Bobrisky wrote.

He added, "I still have many upcoming surgeries to be done. Na who be cross dresser go they fear. I have all my doctors report on all my surgeries."

Pastor drops his two cents on death of singer – “God asked Osinachi to remain in the marriage, she suffered and died in the Lord”

Following the death of a popular gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, a preacher suggested that it was God's will for her to take her last breath in her toxic marriage.

This comes following the claim that the singer died as a result of domestic abuse at the hands of her husband.

According to Pastor Newman, Osinachi's refusal to leave the marriage all along may have been God's will in order to grant her a seat in heaven; one which she would have lost if she had left the abusive marriage.
