Man proposes to girlfriend in the middle of the road in Ibadan

Young man takes to one knee to propose to the love of his life in the middle of the road in Ibadan, Oyo state capital.

The unexpected event happened at Best Way road at a traffic stop where motorists halted for a couple of minutes to obey the command of the traffic light.

The young man who had it all planned out pulled his lover while walking over the zebra crossing as he proposed together-forever to her.

Taking to the image-sharing platform, Instagram, to express the moment, he wrote;

"Normal is boring, so we took the proposal to the traffic 🚥 it's the last slide for me 😍. It's about time for #ThePurpleApril, Let do this together, forever."

Lateef Adedimeji Excitedly Congratulates His Wife, Mo Bimpe On Her Awards

Nollywood actor, Lateef Adedimeji has expressed excitement over his wife's latest achievement in the movie industry.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, Mo Bimpe revealed she got nominated in two different categories at the Nigeria achievers awards.

Mo Bimpe won best actress and producer of the year, and she dedicated the awards to her lovers and fans worldwide while appreciating them for always supporting her.


She wrote: I'm blessed. We got nominated in two different categories and won both … Best actress of the year and producer of the year. A big thank you to the organizers of this prestigious awards @nigeriaachieverawards

Hey fam @adebimpe.armies_@the_adedimejis_fan base all my lovers worldwide, this award is dedicated to you all , I saw how you all voted relentlessly for me, thank you so much for always supporting me, thank you , thank you , thank you … I love you all."

Many of her colleagues stormed her comment section with congratulatory messages, including her husband, Lateef Adedimeji.

While expressing love for his wife, Lateef Adedimeji prayed for Mo Bimpe to continue prospering, adding he is proud of her.

adedimejilateef wrote: Proud of you my love . Go on and prosper my love . I love you and I am proud of you .

Recall, Nigerian skit-maker cum actor, Debo Adebayo popularly called Mr Macaroni sparked online reactions after shooting his shot at Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw.

This comes after Mr Macaroni reacted to a stunning photo of Kate Henshaw shared on the microblogging platform Twitter.

Popular Nollywood star, Tonto Dikeh has been caught on camera being smacked by her son, King Andre on her behind.

The mother of one revealed that her son wants to burst her bum which apparently cost her a whooping 5 million naira.

The little lad, Andre, could be seen cheerfully smacking his mum on her derrière as she was walking.

When he finally landed a loud one, that drew a response from his mum who shouted at him while he took to his heels that he wants to break her N5m bumbum.

The video has elicited reactions from netizens who deplored such acts, with some wondering why the mother would allow her son smack her behind that way.

Rapper Erigga Defines Side Chick ‘Girls Dating Your Boyfriend Are Not Side Chicks’

Nigerian rapper Erhiga Agarivbie, profoundly called Erigga, has countered the general meaning of 'side chick' in his social media post.

A side chick is widely believed to be mistress; a woman one dates besides one's girlfriend or wife, usually in secret, but according to the rapper, this definition is wrong for 'girlfriends' who are not married women.

Erigga noted that a girl dating another woman's husband is the right way a side chick should be defined. He added that unmarried women dating each other's man are all girlfriends.

In his words; "A side chick is a girl who's dating someone's husband, not a girl dating your boyfriend. Girls who are dating your boyfriend are not side chicks, they are his girlfriends just like you too 🤔!!!!!"

Simi’s mum knocks Nigerians as she advises couples –“Stop the noise about husband needing respect and wife needing love”

The songstress's mother chided people to stop saying that a man needs respect and a woman needs love, because, in her opinion, there is no human that doesn't need those two things.

She emphasized that couples should learn to treat each other with love and respect.

The Malian Records boss announced through his Instagram stories that the album is getting ready to be premiered for public consumption.

Writing on his Instagram Stories, Naira Marley said that the album will be out after Ramadan. "Dropping my first album after Ramadan. GTTB," he shared. The 'GTTB' is reportedly the acronym of the forthcoming compilation.

Famous Nigerian gospel artiste, Frank Edwards, has reacted online after journalist Kemi Olunloyo made some posts about his alleged relationship with the late Osinachi Nwachukwu.

The death of fast-rising Nigerian gospel singer set social media ablaze on Saturday, April 9, 2022, as controversies and outrage spread over the cause of her death.

Frank Edwards' attempt to give a clarification on the matter riled Olunloyo up as she tagged him 'stupid' while alleging that he was the late singer's secret lover.

Kemi resorted to Twitter to criticize the singer for supposedly being Osinachi Nwachukwu's lover which ultimately drove her husband nuts and perhaps became the catalyst for her death.

Kodak Black Suggests Jada Pinkett Smith Would Be Happier With Him Than With Will Smith –Why You Deserve Me

Weeks after Will Smith defended his wife at the Oscars, America rapper, Kodak Black has publicly taken a shot at Jada Pinkett Smith.

According to Kodak, he is wooing Jada because he thinks she would be happier with him than with her husband Will Smith.

Speaking in a bizarre Instagram Live video, the 24-year-old rapper said Jada, 50, was 'out of pocket' and urged her to 'come f*** with me' at the start of his video.

He also seemed to criticize her for staying married to Will Smith, 53, while reacting to her admission about carrying on a relationship with another man while she was married to the Oscar winner.

'That s*** you doing ain't real, bro. You got a n***a who love you,' he said.

He added that Will had 'been with you all the years,' before urging her to 'Come f*** with Kodak.'

'That's what you need to do, 'cause you just on some bulls***,' he continued, adding that she didn't 'deserve Will Smith.'

'You deserve me!' he said.

Kodak also appeared to criticize Jada's late friend, the rapper Tupac Shakur.

He said that Tupac was 'gangster' enough compared to himself and seemed to shade him for attending the Baltimore School for the Arts, which was where he met Jada, who was also a student there.

'Long live that boy Tupac, God bless his soul,' he began, before saying that 'Tupac wasn't all the way cut, wasn't all the way gangster his whole life.'

He mentioned that the legendary rapper went to 'school,' and Kodak criticized him for 'dancing.'

The Zeze rapper appeared to suggest that Jada's remembrances of her departed friend were a betrayal to her husband, whom he complimented.

'So stop playing Will Smith like that,' he said. 'Will Smith a stand-up man with integrity. He knows who he is.'

Jada and Will Smith have been in the news since late last month after Will slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars over a joke referencing Jada's shaved head, which is an attempt to cover up bald patches from alopecia.

The attack was widely condemned, and the Academy have since banned Will from attending the Oscars ceremony for 10 years after he had already resigned from the organization.

A 2018 clip from Jada's Red Table Talk show recently surfaced online. In the video, Jada confessed to her husband that she 'never wanted to get married.'

According to Mail Online, the couple decided to tie the knot to appease her mother after she got pregnant with her first child Jaden, but Jada and Will both later agreed that marriage was 'the right call' for them.
