Career Shuttle to the U.S. Department of the Treasury, International Affairs Posted: 28 Jan 2020 06:00 AM PST Friday, March 6, 2020 | 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Location: Washington, DC The Treasury's Office of International Affairs (IA) works to ensure the most favorable external environment for sustained jobs and economic growth in the United States. UMD students of all majors (undergraduate & graduate) are welcome to attend, though students interested in economics, finance/accounting, international affairs, and law stand to benefit most from this trip. Space is limited so you must register for this visit. During our visit, we will receive a short tour and hear from professional's currently working in the office. We will specifically learn more about the following hiring program/position during the visit: Junior Fellowship Program, International Economist. The Treasury's Office requires a short a background check on each attendee in order to attend. Attendees will have the option of meeting in Washington, DC or traveling as a group via Metro from campus. Travel funds will not be provided, however contact Mrs. Marsico if you need assistance. More details will be shared with students who register to attend. This event is organized by the University Career Center & The President's Promise.
